Before you start
A list is a collection of recipients
Every single email address uploaded to the list is a contact. You can always customize the structure of your list, adding optional fields: you can, for example, complete with first name, last name, company…
When you register, Infomail automatically creates a Test Listassociated with your account. Use the test list to check the effectiveness of your communications before final delivery.
- Test List
A test list is a particular list that allows you to test sending to predefined addresses. Infomail creates it for you automatically when you register.
- Optional fields
Optional fields are custom fields that you can add to your list. With optional fields, you can add details associated with each contact (e.g., biographical or company data) and use them to personalize the communications you send, either in the subject line of the email or within the message.
You can categorize the contacts in your list for later filtering by using Tags.
Segments are filters you can set on the tags you have applied to your list: when sending, Infomail allows you to send the communication to all recipients included in the list or only to those identified by the segment.
IMPORTANT:as also clarified in the general conditions of service, the responsibility for acquiring explicit consent to data processing from email addresses uploaded to the platform is the responsibility of the Data Controller.
