How to set optional fields

Optional fields are additional fields that you add to your list to complete information about a user.
Each optional field also has a placeholder enclosed by a double bracket, such as those shown here: {{ }}.

Optional fields allow you to customize the email to be sent with data about individual recipients.

When you create a list, Infomail creates some placeholders automatically, to indicate the recipient’s email address and for the link related to de-subscription, which is mandatory in all promotion and communication emails.

By clicking the Add Field button in the upper right corner, you can add the optional fields you need.

Choose the field name and placeholder you can use to manage the optional field in your emails and click Add Field: you will see the optional fields you have created, next to their placeholders.
You can edit or delete optional fields by opening the context menu with the three vertical dots on the right.
